In addition to our animation software and workshops, we organize events across the Netherlands. Improving the quality of visual culture for present-day youth is one of our main concerns. Young people communicate naturally about social and principal subjects when they use the Internet and the visual language of clips. Moreover, a competitive element or festivity can rouse an extra impulse for teens to express themselves.
Since 2006 Holy organizes Clips for Freedom. This is a national campaign that allows young people to present their visual messages to a wide audience in public places.

An unforgettable day
Events do not just enable young people to express their opinions, it also awards them with an unforgettable day. For Jay Adjodha, the winner of Clips for Freedom, it was an extraordinary moment when he watched his own clip on a massive festival screen. He then confidently walked up to Dutch Prime Minister Jan-Peter Balkenende, with in his hand a list of questions.
The objective of our events
Alongside Clips for Freedom, Holy will flesh out new activities using both the Internet and visual language to add to a need for self expression, creativity and education. Holy foresees a lot of potential in ways to improve creative participation among young people. Hopefully our activities will give them a critical mind set and perhaps even a distinct taste along the way.
