WORKSHOPS
Every year Holy is giving workshops all throughout the Netherlands. In 2008 approximately 100 workshops were given in remote towns and busy cities.
We offer our workshops to anyone, anywhere. Workshops have taken place at high schools, asylum centers, for deaf people and homeless teens.
Everyone who participates in our workshop uses the online animation software to express themselves on social matters. The results are often moving, masterly or very amusing. The discussions afterwards are always interesting and valuable for everyone.

Professional workshops
Holy-workshops take 2 to 4 hours. Professional workshop leaders give them on location. The workshops aim to stimulate the following aspects:
- Generating understanding and respect for opinions and feelings of other people
- Becoming aware of ones own beliefs and creativity
- Developing social skills from learning together
The workshops can take place anywhere. The workshops mostly take place at schools, but it is also possible to give them outside the domain of education, for instance at a business or a governmental institution. At the core our workshops deal with:
- Cooperation
- Drawing out your own opinion in an original fashion and contributing feedback.
- Acquiring new media and computer skills
Visual learning
The workshops have an interdisciplinary and pedagogical character. They are given in the context of history lessons, language classes, social science and cultural studies. At the same time Holy is exploring new terrains for the animation software. The experiences of deaf people and asylum seekers for instance are fascinating, as they were able to communicate with one another in a way people speak to each other in the same language. Visual language is universal. Watch the video’s we have made during our workshops and see the lively dialogues, the laughter, the timidity and the applause.
